Productive Listening
We at Fodip believe that listening to one another is the first step towards effective communication.
As opposed to hearing, the act of listening involves the intent to understand the context, emotion, and perspective behind the words falling in our ears.
It is a skill that comes in handy during difficult dialogues. Where emotions run high, especially where current events are in the media, FODIP offers regular Listening Sessions. It is curated as a space to enable participants to express their raw emotions be it fear, anger, or frustration in a safe environment. These sessions are bespoke, moderated, and provide opportunities to be heard. No-judgment zones and an emphatic ear go a long way in inter-perspective dialogues.
As an expert in Productive Listening, FODIP offers structured and also organizational training to facilitate these sessions.
